The 2nd Annual BALTIMORE BEAUTY PAGEANT applications due by September 1st!
Trixie Little's Baltimore Beauty Pageant was co-created with Mr. Gorgeous as a way to honor of the uniqueness of Charm City as well as the insanity of beauty pageants. Beauty (and Baltimore) are in the eye of the beholder and this contest is about Realness, Weirdness and Originality. Applicants must submit photos/video to be selected as a finalist by Sept 1st. Eight finalists will be chosen to compete at the Pageant on Saturday November 26th, 2011 at The Ottobar. The winning "Queen or King of Crabs" will be selected based on the over-all best performance in three areas: Costume, Talent and Interview. Apply now and show us your bawdiest vision of Baltimore.
RULES:
You must be 18 years of age.
You must be a current resident of Maryland.
You must be available to attend the contest on Saturday November 26th.
Applications must be received by September 1st, 2011 to be considered.
Eight finalists will be chosen and notified by September 21st, 2011.
CRITERIA:
BBP is looking for genuinely Baltimore submissions. We want to see Baltimore-inspired expressions of art, bizareness, over-the-top creativity and total overall outrageousness brought to life! If you are selected to compete, there will be 3 components to the ultimate contest for the crown: Costume, Talent and Interview. For your application, it's a good idea to demonstrate some competence in one or all of those areas.
