Trixie Little's Baltimore Beauty Pageant was co-created with Mr. Gorgeous as a way to honor of the many quirky charms of Charm City. Beauty (and Baltimore) are in the eye of the beholder and this contest is about Realness, Weirdness and Originality. Applicants must submit photos/video to be selected as a finalist by October 1st. Ten finalists will be chosen to compete at the Pageant on Saturday November 27th at The Ottobar. The winning "Queen or King of Crabs" will be selected based on the over-all best performance in three areas: Costume, Talent and Interview. Apply now and show us your bawdiest vision of Baltimore! Applicants must live in the state of Maryland to be eligible.
RULES:
You must be 18 years of age.
You must be a current resident of Maryland.
You must be available to attend the contest on Saturday November 27th.
Applications must be received by October 1st, 2010 to be considered.
Ten finalists will be chosen and notified by October 20th, 2010.
CRITERIA:
BBP is looking for genuinely Baltimore submissions. We want to see Baltimore-inspired bizareness, over-the-top creativity and total overall outrageousness brought to life! If you are selected to compete, there will be 3 components to the ultimate contest for the crown: Costume, Talent and Interview. For your application, it's a good idea to show some competence in one or all of those areas.
